What you'll need to apply
The essentials every applicant needs, plus a few things that make referencing faster.
Required
- Right to Rent in the UK (photo ID and immigration status where applicable)
- Proof of income - at least 30x the annual rent, or a UK-based guarantor
- Clean credit history, with no CCJs in the last 3 years
- A positive reference from your current or most recent landlord
- Minimum 6-month tenancy commitment
Good to Have
- A UK-based guarantor, even if not strictly required - speeds up referencing
- An employer reference alongside your payslips
- A clean tenancy history with no pet or smoking flags (property-dependent)
- Flexibility on your move-in date
- Established UK credit history, especially helpful for first-time renters
